Brexit to-do list

It is not yet predictable whether Great Britain will reach a Brexit agreement or not, but regardless of this you will be in a country that is no longer part of the European Community, a third country that will have to adapt to EU rules in its relations with EU countries.

The transition period will end on December 31, 2020, and it does not seem that there will be any extensions for now. Indeed, on October 22nd the Gov.uk made available an online checker to let everyone, both companies and individuals, identify the changes that affect them personally and take action by 31 December 2020.

The changes will affect:

how goods are moved across the border
how businesses provide services in the EU market
the immigration status of the workforce
GDPR – data protection requirements
